MDT 6 Dialog Boxes

Hopefully someone will be able to help with a small problem that has just cropped up whilst using Mechanical Desktop 6.

The problem is that on clicking an icon that usual brings a dialog box into play, the box does not appear and the instructions for the relevant action appear in the text lines on the bottom of the screen.

I am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction of the setting that needs to be reset in order for the dialog boxes to reappear when required.

CMDDIA needs to be set to 1.
