View Full Version : door schedule - existing doors
We generally list existing doors in a door schedule as "existing"....i.e. we don't show size of the door. How can I do this? These doors are in "existing" phase, but need to be noted to tell the contractor to refinish, etc. We also have new doors so eliminating the column for width, height, etc. isn't going to work.
any thoughts?

We have a similar style when doing door schedules. Our solution is to have one schedule for "new" doors and one for "existing" On the "existing" schedule you can just simply not display the width and height. We find that contractors like the door schedules broken apart like this rather than having to wade through a large schedule of all doors by door number trying to find what it is they need to know.

any thoughts?Would a schedule filtered by phase work? Create a schedule of new doors and a separate one for your existing doors. Give each schedule a nice title and put them both on a sheet.
