View Full Version : Can Revit Create Separate DWF files?

We've been trying to move our office toward using DWF files because of the ease of an electronic markup, however whenever I use the DWF writer from Revit to print my project it always gives me one multi-sheet DWF file, even when I choose the option to create multiple files. I'd like to be able to have separate files (as Revit does do with the PDFs) for a number of reasons like: mark-ups, sending one sheet to a client, etc.

I've tried searching the forums to see if anyone else has had this issue, but I don't seem to find any mention of it specifically.

Has anyone else encountered this? Could it be something that is system specific?

Any thoughts / comments would be great!!

This is a known bug, 2 workarounds, 1 print individual sheets, 2 buy composer and split up the file after the batch plot. Neither are very satisfying.

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully this is among many things that Autodesk can get cleared up since they are promo-ing DWFs so much.

The word on the street is that this is suppose to be correct in the next release.
