Description: A one stop shop is required in the Layer Properties Manager to control Layer States. This could either be via pull downs to quickly change to a layer state or a section in the filter in the portion (of layer states manager) for layer states.

Layer States Manager is the 3rd button at the top of the Layer Properties Manager and there are already drop-downs in the ribbon "to quickly change to a layer state".

Seems what you want is already in the software.

You still have to open two windows (1) for the layer state manager (2) edit the layer state. I was thinking more along the lines of having managing it it the layer properties manager. I pull down woul be handy swapping between various states or having a section in the left hand side where you have the filters.

Layer Properties Manager is pretty busy already, to display all the columns with the viewport options takes the entire screen. It also contains different commands for different verticals and many of us use a lot of layer filters to simplify working with about 200 layers.

As someone who uses both everyday being able to open Layer States Manager from the Layer Properties Manager is perfect already.
Having a few Layer States saved in your default templates saves a lot of time.
