Wall pattern disappears in existing phase

My fire rating wall pattern disappears on a wall in Existing and Demo phase but is fine in the New phase. I want to display the fire rating on my walls in every phase state.

Am I missing something that will display the wall pattern in every state?

Is using Filters under VG the only way to do that?

I probably would use filters for such a specialized item.

Alternatively, you could play around with the phasing Graphic overrides & material patterns settings to possibly find a solution. Because materials have the capability of two patterns, if the material identifying pattern is always in "Foreground" and the fire rating is only in "Background", then the phase Graphic Overrides could hide the Foreground patterns for Existing/Demo elements while keeping the Background patterns of the fire rating. But this requires strict control of the material pattern settings, so I could see that breaking down very quickly.
