Hello fellow revit-users,

My problem is to adjust the vieuwportregion in the sheets when a view is linked in that sheet. This vieuwportregion is too big and gives a problem.

Hello Maarten,

Open the view in question (not the sheet)
Use the crop region option button on the bottom of the drawing area in ver 7, or in ver 6.1 rightclick in the view, select view properties and make sure that crop region visible and crop region are both checked.

You can now click on the edge of the ' viewport' and re-locate it's edges by dragging the blue dots at the midpoint of each edge. Keep away from the squiggles as these will split the ' viewport' ( you can rejoin the viewports if you split them by moving them close together.

This will automatically update the sheet
(also try using Visibility Graphics to switch off things like the elevations if you do not want to see the elevation symbols)

Hope this is what you want.

No sorry this ain't the problem.
The crop region is set properly. It is only the viewport size in the sheet, this one is very big. and it give a problem because I have to place 15 details on one sheet and all the viewports are overlapping. So I don't know which detail I select. The viewport region is not visible in the drawing it is only visible whem I move the cursor over it.

this usually happens when there is something in the view(even though you can't see it) that is far away. Its usually a dwg in plan that shows up in elevation or section because it was imported without the current view only checked. You can try and find the problem or not worry about it and just use the tab key to cycle through the overlapping viewports to get the one you want.
