Filled Regions in families

I am making an electrical fixture family, a 2D direct wire connection symbol and would like to make the triangle with solid fill. The filled region command is greyed out in the drafting menu. How can I get the triangle to show solid fill?

Hi Henry D,
First make a symbol family for your electrical fixture. In this family type you have filled regions.
Load this symbol in your electrical fixture family, add 3d objects if you wish, finish off with salt and pepper (shared parameters) in your personal fafor
E viola: "electrical fixture comme chez soi"

I mostly just hatch electrical symbols by hand. Its not as elegant but I find it pretty quick.
