Working with consultants that use Revit

Our office is doing the design of a medical building. We are taking it through DD and then handing it off to another firm for Cd's. Does anybody have any suggestions about this process? I am concerned about making changes and then giving the project back to the firm doing the Cd's. How do I maintain consistency is my main question. Any help would be helpful.

Give them the RVT model and tell them to stick with Revit since if you do your DD package well, you probably have a 50% CD set already done. Then charge them for doing thier extra work! :)
