Mystery Plane

I don't understand it! When I look at this perspective before rendering it I don't see the gray plane. However, when it is rendered the plane shows up. Can anyone help how can I get ride of this anomaly?????

I have attached 2 pictures to explain the problem. One prior to render and then a very rough render to show the huge gray plane.

Looks like you have a ground plane set at a level above the eye line.
Go to Advanced Model Graphics, Sun and Shadow settings and turn it off and also to your render settings, and either untick the box " use sun and shadow settings from view" or else, turn it off under Environment Main Advanced.
