Some frequently used glyphs (characters) are missing in the standard SHX text fonts supplied with AutoCAD. One of them is promille (‰), there will be probably votes for more characters.
Different "enhanced fonts" can be found for download but these customized fonts can cause compatibility problems - so the most frequently used characters should be probably included in the standard fonts.
