Looking for FangSong_GB2312.ttf Font

We have received a drawing from a Chinese firm that uses the font "FANGSong_GB2312.ttf" that we do not have.

I searched Microsoft's support page and it stated that the font comes with Windows XP and 2000 but may not have been installed depending on the options chosen when the operating system was installed (We use Windows XP Pro). Our IT personnel have not been able to resolve the issue and believe that Microsofts web page is incorrect.

I sent a request for a copy of the font to the files originator but with timing and translation issues it will probably be a couple of days before I get any response.

Would anyone be able to zip up and attach a copy of the FangSong_GB2312.ttf font? Microsofts web site says that it is packaged in the Simfang.ttf file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After copy the font to windows forder but the drawing still not display the text correctly, please help.

In \Windows\Fonts, click the File menu and select "Install new font" and browse to Simfang.ttf


Edit: and restart autocad - it only reads the list of available fonts at start up.

Actually I could not found this .TTF file in my windows\Fonts folder. Maybe because I'm using XP 64bit... So it's much thanks for your shareing. Now I can show the chinese now.

The easier/simpler solution could be sending a request to the Chinese firm.
