Spot Elevations on site plan

Is there a way to pick a point on your site plan and have Revit display the elevation? I'm laying out the site plan now, and thought it would be cool if you could pick any point on the topo and revit would display the spot elevation. Is this something that can be done, or is this more of a wishlist item?

Use the Spot Elevation tool, (in drafting pane) and you will get elevation value.
This works in Plan and 3D views.
