1. Is it possible to automatically place a text note indication M.O. (Masonry Opening). I know that I could use the suffix setting put then I would need to make a seperate dimension string for each individual dimension instead of a string. also I would like the note to be placed below the dimension line rather that tacked onto the end of the demension text. Alot of the projects I work on there are enough openings that it would be a big help to do this automatically rather than placing a text note at each instance.

2. Is it possible to modify a dimension strig after it is placed. Sometimes i miss something that needs to be dimensioned when I am doing a long string and would like to go back and add a dimension to the string. Right now I am ending up with several different dimesion strings in line with each other, which is not a big deal but when i need to move the string then I need to move all of them. It would be helpful to be able to align them or something like that so that they move together.

I would appreciate any comments you might have.

Not at this time...this is a long-time member of the wishlist...
If you do a search, you will probably find many requests for these exact items.

Select the dimension string and click the "Edit Witness Lines" command in the toolbar above. This will allow you to move, delete and add dimension references.

Separate dimension strings should automatically align to each other when you drag them out from the item you are dimensioning.

Thank you for pointing that out, now I feel a little silly for never noticing that edit witness lines button before.

I've missed many obvious things...we all have...so it's not a big deal. ;)
