Before I re-download Revit 8.0 Is anyone else missing the help files?

I'm not sure redownloading will help. I get a message that says "Failed to launch help" . I don't know if that means there are no help files or if it simply can't "launch" them.

Help is working fine for me. Single user, standalone.

The files are loaded on the computer but Revit 8.0 is not pointing to them. They are in the "\Autodesk Revit Building\Program" directory. Anyone know how do I fix this?

If you don't have the Help files go to http://revit.autodesk.com/DownloadContent.asp?en-us and download HelpENU.CAB and extract it to c:\Program Files\Revit Building 8\Program.

I am not sure why it wouldn't work if it is already there. Can you please open a Support Request (http://www.autodesk.com/supportrequest)?

Same hear! Just reloaded and nothing! Also, the Tutorials are not coming in and asks that I go somewhere else to bring them in.

I go to the site you suggest.

I click on Help and Training files and get Page not found

I right click on H & T files and I get a blank window

I right click and save targetas and get windows error cannot download interface not supported.

Great...

Same with tutorial files..

Are you sure the files are there? The help file you need is helpbuildingENU.chm. You will probably need tutorialbuildingimp.chm as well. (these are extracted from the .cab fies) I was missing both these files and downloading as per cmahoney's instructions fixed it.

Got mine working. Even though the cab file and its contents were where they were suppose to be. Downloaded the Help CAB file and installed per instructions from Chris Mahoney. Replaced the existing files with the new ones (the new file is larger?).

Works fine now?
