Measure total length of non-walls

Is there a way to schedule the total linear length of any elements other than walls. Say, for example, and custom linetype?

I need to make sure that none of my radiant loops are longer than 350' and it seams like a natural Revit function. Since Revit MEP isn't out yet I was going to simply create a new workset and new wall types and draw walls in my floor... but if there is a better way, I would use that.
