Changing Glass Color in Individual Curtain Wall Panels

I have created a curtain wall using curtain grid with mullions and spaced them vertically and horizontally at 1m (aprox. 3'-3"). I was wondering if there is a way to take the curtain wall grid that I have created (copy attached) and have a different colour of glass in as many of the different 1m x 1m panels as I want?

I've made a few attempts, but was unsuccessful.

Sure. Select the panel you want to modify, create a new panel type with the desired material/color. Done.
