I am using 2 displays and custom toolbars in AutoCAD 2004. I like to keep Acad in my first screen and my toolbars on my second screen. But when I close AutoCAD, they all move back to within the AutoCAD window on the first screen. Is there any way to keep the toolbars from running back home? Any help is much appreciated!

I'm curious -- does your OS/video driver treat your 2 monitors as one "double wide" monitor, i.e., for 1024x768 resolution x 2 monitors, would it say "2048x768"? I'm wondering because the toolbar positions are stored in the registry, and I wonder if something is happening to the settings when you close AutoCAD, and, if so, exactly what happens. It would be interesting to read the toolbar positions while they are in the "right" places, and again after AutoCAD has been shut down.

I have written a couple of VBA routines for moving toolbars to a specific place on the screen. If the numerical positions are changing when you close AutoCAD, it shouldn't be difficult to alter the code to move them back. I don't have a dual monitor setup so cannot test this myself.
