In AutoCAD 2002 when you go to Plot set up, there is an option in "what to plot" called plot all layouts. Is this in AutoCAD 2005 and Architectural Desktop, if so please tell me where. If not why is it not there as it is very useful.

Cheers

Instead of
Command: Plot
Try
Command: Publish
(Also avaiable from the File pulldown menu).
This will allow you to manage multiple layouts and, I think, you can do what you want from there.

The publish command works well provided all your sheets are exactly how you need them. Another thing you can do is right click on a layout tab and it will say "SELECT ALL LAYOUTS". Once selected, you can right click on a layout tab again and select the plot button. BE SURE THAT THE PAGESETUP IS CORRECT! Whatever the pagesetup variables are set to will be the only thing you can plot to by doing this. You cannot select the penstyles, windows, scale, or even the plotter. But once it's set, it runs rather smoothly.

I like the option in the SSM to publish with page setup overrides... probably not helpful if you've only got one drawing though... just wanted to throw in my $0.02.

Plotting/publishing is set up to do layouts, so you'd end up with a single sheet that has all the viewports. If you wan to individually plot the viewports, you'll have to do it manually, or write a script to plot repeatedly with different window limits.

This is not a problem.
Publish multiple drawings in a single window can be different methods.
It depends on how the drawings are made.
Here is a discussion of this topic (need an interpreter):

According to a survey of users - many used "Reverse", but there is a problem - there is no choice of language, you should write the developer for the transfer.
