Subtract column from wall

My column intersects with a wall. Revit joints it to wall, but I want to subtract it. Is it possible?

Yes, use the unjoin geometry button.

The problem is that column unions with wall and accept wall material. I've got an answer in enother discussion group. To substruct column I must use STRUCTURAL column. Thanks BEEGEE for reply.

An architctural column can be unjoined from a wall that it adjoins and it will then revert to its original material.
