In this model, my walls are set to a nice stark white in shaded view, and the exterior material is a stark white stucco. The image I have attached is a screen shot of a 3d camera view, in hidden line mode.
.
As you can see, the walls turn grey in hidden line mode. In shaded, they are nice & white. Ironically, the other elements in the model, that are not white (roof for ex.), display white in hidden line.

Anyone know of a setting or work-around that will maintain the white walls, without resorting to shaded view (that would mean turning all other materials white in the model).

As always, Thanks In Advance.

is there perhaps a sand surface pattern on the walls? or any surf pattern? When zoomed out they will go to grey instead of displaying the dots. If you zoom in close do you see the dots?

You know Scott, I know that <:|

(At least when I'm thinking about that!)

Dang.

What got me confused though was that I exported that veiw to a 2000.dwg format,
and when I opened it to verify it exported cleanly, the exported wall
was a solid opaque color. Of course I was after a clean export. (umm, I guess I better open it back and really zoom up on the acad file). Anyway, I can export cleanly now with the surface pattern off.

I think it's time for a vacation.

Thanks
