We use MM as our standard project unit and a zero rounding of decimal places.
In this new release I noticed, I llways have a rounding of 1 decimal place, even though the setting in the diaog box is zero (0) decimal places.
If i change the standard project unit to cm and decimal rounding to zero, I select an element I get a number with two decimal places.
Is this only me or did I find the first s*xbug

There is a change in the behaviour with R6.
But as I can see only for the temporary dimensions.
They show, contrary to before with 2 decimal places (no rounding).
Once you change them to dimensions they show correct.
Also dimension normal applied show correct by me

Indeed dimensions show correct
But element properties of families show all units with one zero behind the dot
element properties of dimensions show 4 units behind the dot
It's notting critical to me but it's annoying to have to look at.
If I set the dialog box to zero decimal places, I want zero decimal places.

The reason that temporary dimensions, and properties are shown with full precision is to help eliminate cumulative roundoff errors. Without that behavior, it would be more difficult to detect when a dimension represents the actual dimension and when it represents a rounded off dimension. I know from real world experience that those errors can add up to a significant figure when accumulated across a large number of continuous dimensions. That can result in real construction problems and cost increases.

Makes sense to me!

David,
Thanks for the respons.
I see your point and I have experienced it in real more than once.
I dont understand however it's no longer a user difinable option.
My windows families have a shared parameter for an id number of the window. The shared parameter is set as "number". If I look in windows properties, the default number for this parameteris 0.000000
Speaking of precision.
We do look at many number during a days work so I want to display them as clear as possible. Also to avoid errors.
I also don't understand the need for this kind of precision when for instance setting up a new dimension. A text offset value of 0.2 is the same as 0.2000. Only in my opinion the first reads more easely.
Still very. very very very very happy with rel 6.0
