I want the global project units for length to be millimetres (mm) in a project I'm working on BUT I want level heads to show units as metres.
Is there any way of achieving this ?

It would be handy if you could go to settings - Project units - click on the length format and select an override units setting for level heads.

It's not super important but it would help to co-ordinate with the structural engineers levels without mentally moving decimal points which can drain the brain when tired.

Thanks

You can modify the level head family. Edit the parameter controlling the format and be sure that 'use project settings' is unchecked.

You can use this to mix units as well (ie report decimal feet as the elevations in a metric project ... to be used only when you want to confuse your contractor) At this point you can't have one end report with different units than the other.

Thanks Dimitri,

That's improved what was a frustrating day.
