Queries regarding leaders and notes

I'm applying notes to my construction drawings and I can't seem to locate where the leaders connect with their associated text. I've noticed I can change it from left to right and I can mobilise the bend in the leader...all good...but I'd like to be able to adjust where the leader attaches vertically to the noted text...any ideas?
