hello,
I have drawn my foundation. The view won't work properly. in the view same elements, with same settings for height placement and all other settings, behave different. some elements are cut through some elements are viewed from above. I've played the view range settings, but it still won't work. Could somebody help me
I made an image from a part of the foundation. So the problem will be visible

What does the foundation look like, can you post a 3d view? Where is your view range set in relation to the vertical extents of foundation objects, and what are the foundation elements constructed of, floors, walls, columns, or in-place families?

Also, have you cut a section to see how the foundation relates int he z direction? sometimes one thinks that the foundation is at a specific height, but it isn't...as Andrew mentioned a 3d would help as well with the info on the view range...

It is a self made family of a traditional dutch wooden-pile foundation.
I also checked the z-position. first time with select all instances and a second time each pile apart.
Is there any other possible reason?
I have made an image of a 3d section box. I hope this will declare a lot
Thanks for the quick reactions. This forum works really great. You guys have an answer for everything

Looks like a difficult one to figure out without the actual file to play with... there is nothing like worksets, etc. involved right? They are one family copied around? Is the file one that you can email?

The project is now 16 Mb can you handle that in one mail?
I can split it with winrar. Its how you like it.

I can receive the 16MB but not the email listed under AUGI, you can send it to biuro.architektura@neostrada.pl

I am not sure why the 3D pic reminds me of the old space invaders video game...
if you want to email me directly, I will give you access to an ftp site and take a look at it...
alternatively, saveas a different file name
erase all but 4 columns or so (2 of each display type)
purge the project
and I bet you can get it small enough to post here
