Just loaded the 2006 Civil 3D and Land Desktop package. Everything seems to working fine except the Express Tools. Whenever I open any drawing I get the error:
**Express Tools** -unable to load acetauto.lsp/fas
bad arguement type: consp "arctext"
This seems to refer to arc text, but none of the tools work, either in the pull down or the buttons. I have reinstalled the Express Tools but it didn't help.
Thanks for any help,
Wayne

Does acetauto.lsp exist in your EXPRESS subdirectory? That's what the error message seems to indicate. Perhaps it does exist and is corrupted. You might want to try opening it in the VLIDE editor to look at it, and then try to load it manually if it looks OK.

The acetauto.lsp file is in the express directory and is being loaded at startup. I actually have two of them. One under Civil 3D and one under Land Desktop. The Express Tools for Civil 3D works as it should. Both of the acetauto.lsp files look exactly alike (same date, time, size, ect) so I replaced the LD one with the C3D one but to no avail.

Just to let everyone know, my problem has been fixed. After looking at the AutoCAD Text Window, I noticed a line at the startup giving a reference to a missing registry item. So I just repaired the AutoCAD registry and presto!

What line in the autocad text window and registry item did you fix for the acetauto.lsp problem of the express tools for landdevelopment 2006 loading error.
