Hi everyone,

I've just discovered curtain walls (never needed them before, but my new job demands them) and so far I think they are excellent.

However, how do I put a set of double doors into one?

Thanks,

Max.

Load a curtain wall double door family into your project, selct the "panel" in the curtain wall and change it to the double door.

It is also possible to change the "panel" of a curtain wall to a standard wall and place a door into the wall the normal Revit way.

The size of the panel must be the size of the double door you need and then you load a curtain double door (which is just a panel that behaves/looks like a door) and that's eat...just keep hitting tab until you select the panel you want the door and replace it. You will also need to delete the mullion at the bottom where the door will be...

I have a specific door threshold profile I use in that area. Nothing special, just traced something from cad. I love Curtain walls too, I am sometimes tempted to model every damn wall as a curtain wall, especially when using the massing tool, and update and chang it all around all funky like..

GOOD to see you have kept your sig line in tact, no mean old secular huminist thugs gonna push my man Luigi around!...

Anybody who knows anything about you, knows that the last thing you would ever want to do is get a mess started. Being a worthwhile human being sometimes means making others a little uncomfortable through no fault of our own. It wasn't like you were trying to force somebody's kid to pray in school or burning Darwin's books now were you. you were just expressing who you are (which is what sig line are for BTW) and you were doing it in a completely appropriate manner. But that is just me...

Nice one guys. Excellent. Very much work in progress (2 days so far) but you can see the curtain wall on the entrance feature. Still lots to do regarding copings, corner columns (one is half started) bottles etc.

Thanks very much for the help as always.

Max.
