During the start of the Content Extraction phase of the Revit 6.0 installation, I receive the following Revit error dialog box:
"The file could not be downloaded. The server replied with error code 407."
Does anyone know what this is and how to work around it?
TIA.

From The Revit FAQs :-
Problem:
Error 407 returned extracting content during installation of Revit.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Solution:
This issue appears to be a proxyserver error.
Many networks use proxyservers as part of their security and apparently there are some issues with the downloader getting through the proxy.
Revit is investigating the root cause and hope to have a software solution in the future.
In the mean time, both the metric and imperial libraries, the metric and imperial templates, and the Rendering libraries can be downloaded directly from the web:
The 6.0 content page is...
http://revit.autodesk.com/EN/6_0/DownloadContentEN6_0.htm
Edit: Thanks Steve, post edited above.

Steve,
FYI. I noticed that the installation paths that are on the web site are not all correct. For example, the paths include "...\Revit\..." then they should be installed to "...\Revit 6.0\.." since they refer to a Revit 6.0 installation.
Another example are the Help files. The path should point to "...\Program Files\Autodesk Revit 6.0\Program" instead of the path listed.
I would recommend that someone from Autodesk review these carefully to see that they posted correctly. The Help file one drove me nuts. I finally got an answer from Revit, but they noticed other errors also.
Thanks.
