Shade Selected Object

Hi there,

In Max/Viz there is an option that automatically shades ONLY the selected object(s).
I'm wondering if there is anything similar in Revit - sometimes while working in Hidden line, shading only one item (e.g floor) would be of great help.

You can use visibility overideds under view visibility, to say make all your walls grey and your furninture bright red or whatever you want.

Just curious, why would you want to do this? - for some aspect to make working in the view more facil, or for presentation?

there is always the isolate objects... or hide categories....

I would like this for ease of work.
In the current project there are lots of walls on many levels. The normal working display mode is hidden line or wireframe. Getting the selected object to shade (just like it does in Shading with edges) would help a lot.
I know you can hide/isolate or change the objects' style but this is a bit of a workaround for me.
I guess I'll have to stick to it and I presume that this thing should go as a minor wish.
