Wall vs Ceiling cut issue

I created a ceiling using the extend to wall core option. Everything was fine unitl i changed the floor type to another. The wall GWB wasnt cut anymore by the ceiling. How can i fix that ?

The wall finish layer will not auto trim to the ceiling level, despite the ceiling penetrating that layer to extend in to the wall core.



You must unlock the finish layer, by going into the wall properties, edit structure, select a section view, zoom on the top of the wall finish layer, highlight the top edge and change its padlock to unlocked. You can then manually pull the finish layer down to the ceiling level, or enter a negative extension distance in the properties dialogue.

Also use Join Geometry for the wall and the ceiling.

Since the ceiling is not at the end of the wall, i cant use the unlock method. So is the Edit Cut Profile they only way to do what im looking for ?

You could also add the 10" airspace as the "top layer" of the ceiling and use Join Geometry between ceiling and wall.
