Good day everyone,
I have created a ceiling pattern using compound ceiling 2x2 ....When i place my lighting fixtures on the ceiling taking the surface pattern as my ref line i place the fixtures in the ceiling plan but once i render it the fixtures seem to be out of place from the grids in the rendered view......what can be done to get them aligned.
Regards,
Aliya

The only way is to modify the accurender's mateial's mapping, it won't be pretty. You will need patience. Look up in search how to modify the mapping of a material....

As Luigi has stated, the mapping of Accurender is independent of Revit's hatch patterns. The only accurate way to map correctly is - dare I say it - Accurately model the ceiling and grid. I've not tried this - but might be worth an experiment. A horizontal curtain wall - Mulls are the ceiling grid, and the ceiling panels the "glass". Not sure how light fixtures would work, of if you could defined the glazed panel as a ceiling.
