I have a left handed keyboard and I am trying to define the number pad to AutoCad commands. For some reason I cannot define the decimal key with the following:

., *PEDIT

Can the decimal key be defined???
What do I need to do differently?

thought I would bump this up into the new posts as I didn't receive any lovin :-p

I am refereing to creating a shortcut that uses the decimal key on the numberpad.
I have managed to assign everything except the num lock key and the decimal key
within the PGP file.

Same outcome. On my "righty" keyboard I programmed 0-9. "." was ignored and the rest of the pgp ran fine.

Hummm...

same here..... it act like a hard return?

It might have something to do with "." being a prefix for acad's base commands?.... I probably don't have the lingo correct... I'm sure one of the lisp or vba can explain why it wont work...

but putting the "." in front of certain commands, I believe, tells acad to use the standard command...therefore when you try to invoke a ". [return]" acad thinks your trying to invoke the standard [return]...

But like I said, I'm not really sure just saying what comes to the top of my head....? Maybe one of the programming gurus can clarify.
