We have several sheets where we have used the numbered list feature, now when we go back to edit them it has converted them back to using tabs and changed the wdith of mtext to 0, is there anything that we can do to fix this easily?

Without seeing the issue, it is a bit hard to help you.
Are you saying the indents are incorrect? You can format indents just as you do with Word. Use the Properties palatte to fix the width problem.

No, it inserts tabs and removes the numered list to where it works like it would have in 2005 or prior, but adds extra tabs and elimnates the width of the mtext, I am trying to attach images to show the comparison between the way it should be and the way it turns out.
The file called pdf.jpg shows how the text should look, the other (with the mtext editor visible shows how the text does look when we reopen the drawing.

I tried duplicating the issue simply, and could not. Was the drawing round-tripped in another version of AutoCAD?

hi,
i am having a similar problem.
I created a multitext with two static columns. typed text and converted it to numbered list with left indent hanging at 660. first column was full and some text jumped to 2nd colund and all seemed fine i.e. numbers and texts were in place as desired. i closed the file and then reopened. to my surprise all the text in second line was out of formatting. it appears that hanging in second column has moved to somwhere near infinity.
file attached for your review.
