I need some help here guys. I am trying to impress a Architect in our office that has not switched over to Revit yet.
I really do not now were to start creating this curtain wall. I cheated and created a generic model instead, but it will not load into Revit 7.0.
It seems lately I am getting a lot of ( 0 ) replies to my post, I must be stumping everybody.

When you mean not loading ? do you mean not acting like a window or something !
I would suggest you nest it into a window template if you want it to act like it was punched into a wall within your project. You would have to alter the Opening within the window template to cut the hole to match your generic model family.
YOu will probably need to replace the opening with a void so as to cut the correct Hole depening upon the detail inside and out.

Which version of Revit did you use to create the model? I tried to load it into R 7.0 and was unable to as it was apparently created in a later version of Revit ie. R 8.0.

The problem seems to be to do with the circular array you used for the brick arch. Select all the bricks in the arch, 'ungroup' them and then it will work fine.
Don't know why this should be a problem, but this solves it for you.

The model was created in Revit 7.0, our IT guy is dragging his feet to install the license manager on the server for V 8.0.
Here is a curtain wall family that I have attempted, and it is not quite what the Architect has drawn, mullions not cutting right angled mullions and so on.
Thanks for the help guys.
