is there a way to set room seperation lines not to print but so that you can still see them on your plans.
They are annoying to have on since they print, but its nice to know where they are when laying out multiple spaces between walls.

Under the sub category of lines toggle the <room separation> off. If you want to get slick set that up in one view and save that view as a view template and apply it to your plans...

I would like a "no plot" object style added, so we can configure things like room seperator lines not to print.
At a minimum, a checkbox in the print dialog box "Print Separation Lines?" like "Print Ref Planes" already has.

Scott i had precisely the same thought...perhaps i should add to wishlist forumns...it would make others happy i am sure to see such an item relocated to "Wishlists"

Would make perfect sense, why would you ever really want to see them...?

Hey there,
Eventhough I have not upgraded, I think that I can help here.
When we had our demo last week, we were all shown a new v8 feature in the print setup screen which allows you to set up your own "print template" so that you can do exactly what you are all asking for i believe.
He said that you can then add these print settings to your standard template. Kinda like your view templates.
When you are in a new print dialog box, hit "setup" and at the bottom. The first button option (if I remember correctly) was this new feature in v8. It is grouped with all the old ones which included, "hide scope box" etc.
Hope this helps

Steve,
Are you getting confused with the new RB8 print feature " Hide Unreferenced View Tags " ?
This new option allows you to to make all Section, Elevation and Callout tags that refer to views not placed on sheets as non- printing. Effectively this hides temporary or working views from deliverable output.
It does not work for room separation lines though.

You are correct Beegee! I got confused....
Thanks (Maybe I need to go for a long ride! 34 days straight, working 16 hours on average!)
