Library Shortcut Icons

The library shortcut column on the left side of the file dialog windows allows the shortcut icons to be toggled from large to small by right clicking on the column. Does anyone know how to cause small icons to be the default?

I wish they could be toggled to small icons by default, too! And I wish you could drag-n-drop shortcuts there, too....like....dare I say it??? .....AutoCAD!
