Shade sails

How can I create a shade sail in Revit, could be triangular or a rectangular, I'm not quite sure at this stage.
I could just dash an outline on the floor plans but it would be nice to have it show in 3d.

Create as in-place family or external family using a sweep or revolve then use a void to cut to the appropriate shape. This is the way we've done it in the past.
