Just wanted to point this out -

It's a rendering pluggin for 3DS Max that, among many other things, renders lines on geometry with weights that are effected by the distance from the viewpoint. Something i know we've all wished Revit could do when producing those wonderfully automatic elevations.

yes, you have to actually RENDER the scene, it's not a live effect, but at least someone's doing it, and even with a product that is somewhat (remotely and by marriage, i know) related to Revit. Still, hopefully we'll see a Revit feature sometime in the future that includes depth cueing for lineweights in elevation and perspective!

Very cool stuff! I have always liked the rendered with edges style.

Me too. it makes for simple, clear communication. I'd really love the lineweight function of this though, as it would apply to an elevation or section view. - I spend too much time w/ the linework tool doing things that i'm sure could be automatic like outlineing the building, and changes in depth..
