Finally got to poking around in 8.0. Have a look at these two areas:
1) F1 help has a structural heading. Open it up and have a look. Any comments?
2) The program directory has a RevitAPI.chm file (compiled help menu). This is executable. Just click it. As I suspected, the API interface wasn't gonna be easy. I guess I'll have to wait for the $60 SAMS manual "Teach yourself Revit API in 21 days".
