dimension wall types in schedule

We just installed 8 and did well with dimensioning our door and window schedule components. Now I am trying to dimension the material layers of our wall types - we typically dimension from core face to interior and exterior finishes so that it ties structural framing dimensions and finish face dimensions to the appropriate face.

It does not appear to work on wall types. Is there a trick...?

I assume that you're talking about legends? I have found the same thing. May be something for the wishlist.
