Not sure if this is the right place to post, so I won`t get upset if this thread gets moved.
I have just had 2006LT installed and it won`t plot.
I just keep getting the message saying " unhandled exception violation "
I suspect our IT section couldn`t fix it.
Anybody got any ideas ?

Hi
Does this occur when you issue the Plot command or within the Plot dialog box?
Have you tried a Repair / Install?
Have you tried the AutoCAD LT Knowledge Base (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/kb/autoindex?siteID=123112&id=2334144&linkID=2475874) on the Autodesk web site -
unhandled exception violation plot (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/search?la=en&siteID=123112&catID=2334116&linkID=2475874&qt=unhandled+exception+violation+plot&rq=0&oq=unhandled+exception+violation) returned 5 results.
Have a good one, Mike

Thanks Mike
It looks like Autocad 2006LT doesn`t have the driver for our plotter, so it crashes.

Hi
Have you tried Plotting via the Windows System Driver for that output device?
Does the output device support HPGL/2 or similar? If yes, you could try configuring an AutoCAD LT Plot Configuration File (PC3) to output to that format and Plot fom there.
Have a good one, Mike

Tried it Mike - still didn`t work.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
