OK so I'm still on 2005 but....Is it just me or is it a bug in Autocad? If I have angle type set to surveyor's units and I change the direction of my base angle to south why does polar tracking say a line to the right is north and a line to the left is south? If I make my base angle north then right is south not north like it should be (or like I think it should be). I would say it's me but when I make west my base angle then a line to the right is west like it should be and left is east (and up is south and down is north). I tried changing the angle direction to clockwise and that makes north and south the correct direction but it makes east west and west east. Is this by design?

Hi

As far as I can make out AutoCAD is correctly following the Right-Hand-Rule (the AutoCAD Online Help File "F1" contains more information on that if need be).

Have a good one, Mike
