Jumping Level lines

We are experiencing this issue:

A wall section has been placed in a view. Later on it needs to be flipped. We select the flip control and when we go to the view to edit it, the level lines have jumped (or stayed put?) away from the section. See image.

Has anyone experienced this as well?

I've noticed this as well, and had it happen to me a number of times when i have switched the direction of a section...but I can't tell you how to fix it other then to just grit those teeth and pull the levels back to where they need to be. :)
