We are working on a prototype school where the client sent us the original drawings and we are adapting them to the new school site. The drawings were originally created in Architectural Desktop but we have exported them and are working with them in AutoCad 2002. When we zoom in while in paperspace all the lines look very thick, like they are drawn with a crayon. There does not seem to be any differentiation in lineweights. It does not seem to affect the plotting. Does anyone know what might be causing this and what we can do to get the lines to display properly on the screen?

Thanks,
Melody Will

try unclicking the "lwt" toggle button at the bottom of screen......

or type "LWEIGHT" on command line...

Hi

Check out the following Technical Document on the Autodesk web site under the Knowledge Base section -

ID: TS44539 - Adjusting the display scale of line weights in layouts (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?id=2878162&linkID=2475323&siteID=123112)

+

Take a look at system variable LWDisplay

Have a good one, Mike
