Problem with leader in Mechanical 2005

When I select the leader command from the pull down menue or the shortcut button, I lose my cursor inside the drawing area. Is there a setting I need to change to get the cursor to show inside the drawing area?

Brad,
When I lost my cursor on the field of my drawing, I had to go to TOOLS-OPTIONS-DISPLAY tab. Select the Colors button & in the Windows Element field, select Layout tabs pointer and make sure if you have a black background, your pointer (cursor) is set to White. I was having a black cursor on a black background.
