Wall Sweeps in Revit 8

I am experiencing an issue I had not noticed in Revit 7. When I apply wall sweeps in 3D view, interior (base) or exterior (frieze), they do not show up in Elevation or Section views. Applied in Elevation views, they are visible in 3D view. This applies to Gutters, Fascias, etc. also.

It can be cumbersome and sometimes difficult to 'CATCH' every instance when applying in Elevation views.

I checked all the visibility settings, etc. Hopefully I'm missing something pretty basic.

are sure that your 3d view isn't set to a phase that is later than your elevation views? Thats the only thing I can think of. Or you are placing them in the 3d view on a workset that isn't on in the other views.

That was the answer. The 3D view was set to Project Completion, while everything else was set to New Construction. I don't know if I inadvertently set it up that way or that is the default setting. I usually don't even get into setting my workflow up in Phases.
