I have created a main roof using sloped glazing in order to make it look like a standing seam metal roof. I have three building forms that "cut into" this roof and stick up above it, but I can't seem to find a way to cut the portions of sloped glazing away that are interupted by these forms.

The forms that interupt this main roof were originally created by solids and voids and now I've applied a curtain system "by face" to them.

Thanks,
artitech.

I have a piece of string, do you know how long it is?

In order to help you, we would need something to work with. Please post your file.

Would creating lines at the boundary of the protruding objects while in sketch mode do what you want? Make sure non of these interior boundary lines define the slope.

All you need to do is ask.....

The revit file is too large to post, but here are a few images....

Looks like your standing seam roof / sloping glazing is intersecting the walls of the larger blocks. If so, slect the sloping glazing system and an 'edit' button will appear so you can edit the sketch. In a plan view you can trace around the walls it meets. (watch which lines are slope defining though...!)

Hope this helps.
