Layer Properties Manager in LT2005

I've seen lots of threads about issues with Layer Properties Manager loading slowly, but I can't get it to load at all! I can see what layers are in a drawing from the drop down menu on the layers toolbar, but cannot create any new ones.

The command doen't work from either the toolbar, the command line or the menu-line.

Everything else seems to work fine. Is there something simple I'm missing?

Only just got the software, so if no easy answers then I'll call the Autodesk helpline later today.

Try a Repair / Install (if you run Anti-Virus Software, temporally disable it while performing the repair / install).

Thanks for the suggestion. However, the antivirus software didn't make any difference. the thing that has sorted it was to remove the Microsoft .NET framework. Removed that via control panel and then re-installed - problem sorted! This suggestion came from Autodesk, who do not support .NET.
