Hey everyone. I hope you're all having an excellent holiday season!

I just wanted to let everyone know that we (revitcity) will be sending out an email to all of our members when we hit 1000.

If you do not wish to receive this email you must cancel your membership. To do so go to www.revitcity.com/faq.php and click on "Cancel Membership" You must be logged in to cancel your membership.

Thank you and have a happy new year!

...do not wish to receive this email you must cancel your membership....

Sheesh that's extreme  :D perhaps an "optout" option would be "nicer"...just a thought

Happy Holidays...

Hey Hiroshi,

Seeing as how you were able to take such great advantage of the member lists for Rugi.org and this BB when you sent out the original launch notices for Revitcity.com, why don't you post your membership list as well in case any of us similarly want to contact all of the Revit users you have signed up?

Just a thought,
Greg

When I first purchased revit in Dec 1 03 my supplier said "ya, you gotta sign up to revitcity.com. Seems like it was sent down from autodesk for them to promote this site. Justs my impression I received. I went there and the site just about seem blank. I ended up finding rugi and zoog and like Wow!

that's a surprise...probably just your supplier. Autodesk is actually much more behind rugi and zoog than revitcity. I think they were actually funding Rugi and Augi?

Greg, we'll look into publishing the memberlist...the reason we didn't is because we know publishing an email list causes spam for our users. If you want to contact someone from Revitcity you can view their profile.

We'll also look into posting a newsletter opt out as well...thanks for the suggestion.

Per Steve's request, you can now opt out of receiving the email newsletter instead of cancelling your membership through your member profile. Just go to revitcity, login, click "edit profile" and check the appropriate box.

Revitcity is a good site for revit components.

I also recently found www.specifiedby.com (https://www.specifiedby.com) which allows you to download revit files for free. It's also the UK's largest BIM library.
