I am attempting to install AutoCAD 2006 (multi-seat stand-alone) using the Distribution Wizard to create an Administrative Image.

Although I am doing a Custom setup, selecting the Express Tools to install, and checking the confirmation box in the following screen, the Express Tools are not installing. The 'Setup Confirmation' screen at the end of the wizard even states that it will not be installed. (See attached image.) Incidentally and of much less concern, it also states that the Desktop icon will not be created even though this option was also selected.

Can you offer any advice to correct this behavior?

Try not selecting to install express tools from the custom box & make sure a check is in the box on the following screen to install it.

Try creating a couple of different install images with both of the senarios here & see what happens when you install it on a computer. It shouldn't take too long to create your deploy image.

Type expressmenu at the command line. The express tools came up when I did it.
