I am running into an issue where my section and level heads are shown filled on-screen, but when I plot to my HP 1055, they show up blank. I went so far as to remake the tags and reload them into the project, but the results were the same. What is even more puzzling, is that they show up when I print them to the office laser printer. I do not see anything in the plotter setting that would cause these tags not to plot.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

I guess it's a very small line spacing of hatch in you drawings. Try to set highest quality for plotter when you print a drawing. If you do so and have no result, edit line spacing in hatch bigger.

ekurbatov,

Thank you for the response and suggestion, but I cannot change the line spacing in the fill pattern for I used Revit's solid fill pattern with a black fill.

I did change my plotter settings to best, but the results were the same.

Its a driver issue with the 1055. Mine drops any solid filled regions that are part of annotation families. I have a SD title block that has a filled region across the bottom of it to make a heavy line. It only prints the outline.

The only workaround I know of is to print to pdf, then print the pdf. Or try various drivers for your 1055. also you can try raster plottiing and try processing in your computer.

The problem could be the HP1055 which Revit seems to be tempermental with.

Changing plot quality settings, etc. can sometimes fix these types of problems. Do a search in the revit forums for the hp 1055 - that will turn up some detailed suggestions.

Thanks for the replies guys. You have confirmed my fears that is is an issue with the plotter. I was hoping that this was not the case, but I will look around the forum further. Until then, I will make use of Scott's suggestion by plotting to PDF.
